Gretchen Christine Rossi

So as probably everyone knows, or should know, I am OBSESSED with Real Housewives series on Bravo! TV. I can't get enough. It's classy, it's trashy, it's everything but the kitchen sink! My favorite housewife of all time is Gretchen Rossi. I think that she is as real as it gets. Yes, she's had her bad publicity and name calling, but she always comes out of it with a smile and admitting the truth. She seems to always be the most level headed housewife, putting other ladies in place when need be. She's a girl after my own heart! What I love about her most though is that her style is the perfect combination between Playboy Bunnies Kendra and Bridgette. She has that sporty, athletic look, but pairs it perfectly with a beautiful set of pearls, diamonds and curled hair. Don't get me confused though, she has her own look as well, it was just the closest comparison I could think of.

I really want to start using her as inspiration more because I feel that she is so well put together and deserves to be acknowledged. I would kill to get a hold of a sample of hers and be able to do a tutorial about it. When her and Slate were on the Live! show with Andy Cohen, was her eye makeup not to die for?! I'm going to Google image search a couple classic looks and get together with Alyssa to do a total Gretchen Rossi tutorial look. I'm really excited about this and think that you ladies will be able to easily get it down.

Does anyone else have idols or inspirations that they would like to share? I'd love to come up with a tutorial about how to get that look! Just comment on here or send me an email. Some other inspirations that come to mind quickly are Audrey Hepburn (of course), Kyle from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kate Hudson (oh I'm doing a tutorial on her soon!) and a couple others. Give me your opinion, I'd love to hear it!! Thanks for reading! :)

How to Keep Looking Cheerful During These Rainy Days!

Hey! So right now it's crazy storming... again. It's only not rained 49 days SINCE JANUARY 1!! Gross.
So I wanted to blog about some ways to keep looking cheerful during these days.
First, with your make-up, really play up those eyes! Use bright (not gaudy) colors together that create that pretty pop of color! Color combos like yellow and purple, light blues, pinks, bright blues, etc. If you don't want to use colors, try using some different colored eyeliners like blues, purples, or greens. You can also try wearing a nude eye, or a basic liner with a beautiful red or pink lip. I've been rocking the pink lately! :)

Now with the outfit! Try wearing a cute pop of color in your accessories- like some pink heels, purple jewelry, blue earrings, and such! Don't be afraid to combo bright tops with bright jewelry! It's spring time after all!

Just remember that it's NOT WINTER! So keep wearing pops of color and showing this horrible weather who's boss! Just don't over do it... we are not in the 80s! But keep it fresh and maintained and you'll be the cutest thing!! :)

I posted some new videos check them out!

HOW CUTE ARE THESE!!!!

Ahh it's finally here!

Hey Everyone!
So my little saying, "Always Classy! Never Trashy!" has finally become something! I started a Youtube page (www.youtube.com/user/alwaysclassy513) and can't wait to get started on that.
So why did I start this you ask? Well, this year has been one of the greatest yet trying years I have ever had. I have learned and lost so much over the past 9 months, and decided that it was time I open up a conversation about the things that are happening in my life. If it wasn't for other girls being like, "ya that's happening to me too" then I don't know if I would be where I am today. I believe that we have power in communities and that God intended for us to come together with our joys, sorrows, pain and laughter. So on here I will be discussing different things I've learned, aka- the smoky eye, hair tutorials, nail designs, reviews, etc! I also want to start a discussion about things going on in my life. I've been stabbed in the back by a lot of people lately resulting in some 'not-so-classy-moments' of despair, but I have also been given the best friends to help me through this and bring me back to the lady I am. I'm not perfect, and sadly not classy 100% of the time, but I want others to know that it's not just happening to them, and let's talk about how we handled the situation, how we can keep it classy, and what lessons God is teaching us along the way. I feel that I am pretty good at reinvention, so I want to share my tips and tricks on how to look better, different, or to just feel prettier (like when I self-tan and am not a snowflake anymore!) so others can try it out too and let me know how it affected your self confidence. I also LOVE quotes. So I'm going to add one that I feel is inspiring to the bottom of every blog and please respond and let me know how it applies to you or what you think. Again, this isn't intended for me to just get on and talk about myself and yatta yatta yatta. I want it to be a conversation between all of us inspiring, beautiful and powerful women :) I need some ideas to start out with so if you have any questions, requests or interests please leave them in the comment section or email me at- AlwaysClassy513@gmail.com.
I hope this blog helps you to change your confidence, self-esteem, hope, and life in small or big ways. :) ttyl xoxo

Quote of the Blog (aka- QOTB! haha)
It takes more courage to reveal insecurities than to hide them, more strength to relate to people than to dominate them, more 'manhood' to abide by thought-out principles rather than blind reflex. Toughness is in the soul and spirit, not in muscles and an immature mind.
